Not really. She was actually very reasonable.

There are a lot of words I could use to describe Ty Lee, Entrapta, but "reasonable" isn't usually one of them.

I chose Ty Lee for what we don't have in common.

I chose her because she was a child of nobility who attended the same school as me, and she wasn't too intimidated to play with me in the schoolyard.

I do a lot of observing.

Then you understand how important it is to find friends who have the right balance of fear towards us.

[Not too much, but not too little, either.]

Oh, no, fear is the worst available option. You pretty much guarantee cascading disasters whenever that particular dam breaks.

So don't keep them so afraid that the dam breaks.

Still seems like a bad decision with all the work you'd have to put in balancing that against every other emotional input they experience...

[She's not even morally opposed. She's not morally much of anything. She just doesn't like to see Azula waste time and effort.]

It's just so inefficient! If you switched to a straightforwardly incentive-based system I think you'd see much better returns!

But there's nothing wrong with my returns. Your argument only makes sense if I were complaining about my friends being disloyal.

I'm glad you're happy with your results, but I'm talking about input, here.
