Because every time I asked to have a job in maintenance or ship upkeep I got told no, and now the Admiral is positioning that as a punishment somehow, which is at least a little bit funny.

That's not what I got when I asked before. So, again, the Admiral seems to be inflicting on me what I already asked for and was turned down.

...I mean. The Admiral isn't really inflicting anything on you, this is more a situation of 'you asked for one job that you wanted to do in a certain way and weren't allowed to, now you're doing a slightly different job in a certain way that nobody's asked you to stop'...?

....I actually think the Admiral talking down some of the most important work on the ship is a problem in itself, but never mind.

One condition for all this, alright? Whatever it is that you end up building to do custodial work - if anyone asks for it to be checked over by an expert to make sure it's on the up-and-up, we're letting that happen. Fair?
